SCOTT High’s injury-time goal earned Solihull Moors a point in a thrilling 3-3 draw against title-chasing Carlisle United.
High struck three minutes into time added on at Damson Park to rescue a point for the home side.
That came after Darius Lipsiuc scored a brace to turn the game on its head shortly before the break after Georgie Kelly’s early goal put the visitors in front.
However, Kelly completed his hat-trick with a second-half brace only for High’s late goal to ensure Moors came away with a share of the spoils.
The result means Solihull sit 10th in the National League table, four points outside of the play-off places.
Moors fell behind after just three minutes when Kelly finished from close range following some pinball in the box after Laurie Walker superbly kept out the striker’s initial header.
However, Solihull equalised on 26 minutes when Lipsiuc allowed the ball to run across his body and the midfielder curled a low shot into the bottom left corner from 15-yards out.
And Lipsiuc struck again on 37 minutes to complete the turnaround as he latched onto Joe Sbarra’s header and burst into the box before coolly finishing past Gabriel Breeze.
Carlisle drew level after the break on 66 minutes when Kelly controlled Harvey Macadam’s cross on his chest and volleyed past Walker from six-yards out.
And Kelly completed his hat-trick five minutes later as he guided a corner from the right into the net with his head at the near post.
However, Moors scored a dramatic equaliser in injury time when High found the net from the edge of the penalty area after Breeze came off his line and failed to claim a high ball into the box.
Solihull are next in action against Rochdale on Wednesday, January 21 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Damson Park.
