A MURDER investigation is under way after a man was fatally stabbed in Acocks Green.
West Midlands Police said it was called by the ambulance service to Olton Boulevard East shortly before 2pm on January 13.
A man was found seriously injured and despite the best efforts of paramedics, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Officers are working to establish the full circumstances around what happened, speaking to witnesses and reviewing CCTV.
A scene remains in place while forensic examinations are carried out, and local officers are there to offer reassurance to the community.
