School handed top Solihull eco award

CELEBRATIONS were in order after a Solihull was handed a top eco award.

Damson Wood Nursery and Infant School Academy has achieved Level 4 in the Greener Solihull Schools Award – the highest level currently available.

The accreditation highlights the school’s growing commitment to sustainability, environmental learning, and practical climate action.

The school is also pleased to be supported by its award sponsor, National Energy Hub.

The award recognises schools that go above and beyond to promote greener ways of working and learning.

By reaching Level 4, Damson Wood Nursery and Infant School has demonstrated that environmental education is firmly embedded across school life, from classroom learning to outdoor experiences.
