PUPILS have put pen to paper and written letters to an author who dedicated his latest book to their school.
Youngster at Cheswick Green Primary School have reached out to Tom Percival after they discovered his latest book, This Way Up, was in honour of the school.
Tom Griffiths, headteacher at the Cheswick Way school, said: “I had bought my son a copy of This Way Up and then as we started reading it, I was surprised and delighted to see that Tom had dedicated it to Cheswick Green Primary School. I shared the exciting news with our staff that evening and then showed the whole school during our weekly celebration assembly.
“There were lots of gasps and smiles in assembly that day.
“Many of the children have said how beautiful the illustrations are and it’s a great way of explaining what a compromise is.”
