MICKEY and Minnie are back and on a mission – to discover what it truly means to be a hero.

Disney On Ice Find Your Hero brings together everyone’s favourite characters and locations combined with stunning ice skating pops of pyrotechnics, a splash of acrobatics and of course a sprinkling of Disney magic for two hours of pure joy.

Mickey and Minnie MC the show with a little help from Goofy and Donald Duck – as they try to find out what is needed to be a true hero.

Whether its a beautiful singing voice, physical strength, mystical powers or the ability to make people smile – Disney characters from across the years were on hand to show they had what it takes to be a hero.

Ariel started the show with a bang with a stunning display of jumps and twists both on the ice and in the air.

Alongside Flouder and Sebastian she showed how she was able to overcome Ursula’s unwinnable deal and come out triumphant.

Sticking with the water theme Moana was up next to show how her willingness to help her people saw her, and Maui save the village.

Between each act Mickey and the gang headed back out onto the ice where Goofy tried to take charge of the running order but chaos ensued when Stitch made his way onto the ice to show his skills.

From there the mission set off across to every corner of the Disney to find out the qualities of heroes including, from Rapunzel to Beauty and the Beast and to Elsa and Anna in Arendelle.

As the snow started to fall the Frozen lovers were getting very excited as awaited their hero – Elsa.

But in a twist of events it was Kristoff who took the stage and dazzled the audience with his routine to show its not just the girls in Frozen who are heroic in this part of the Kingdom.

Then the moment came, as Anna, Olaf and Kristoff made their way to the north mountain where Elsa had made an ice castle.

The opening notes of Let It Go was all it took for sheer joy to spread across faces as the Frozen lovers joined in word for word.

The final hero we met was the Madrigal family, who have special powers between them from Luisa’s superhuman strength, to Isabela who can make flowers instantly bloom with her touch.

But we don’t talk about Bruno…even though a stunning performance took place for the iconic song.

The finale saw all the favourites return to the ice one final time as the mission came to end.

The talented Disney On Ice cast rehearse for more than 550 hours to perfect each performance and encapsulate the characters, while a team of choreographers and set and costume designers create over 200 props and over 200 different costumes.
