KNOWLE battled to a ninth successive league win after claiming a 4-2 victory against Leicester St Andrews.
A brace from Talib Copeland and further goals from George Seeley and Connor Mort sealed another victory for the home side at the Draintech Community Ground.
The result means Knowle sit third in the Midland Football League Division One table, seven points behind leaders Gornal Athletic with three games in-hand.
Knowle broke the deadlock after just nine minutes when Copeland produced a clinical finish from Toby Scott’s through ball.
And the Robins doubled their lead on 24 minutes as Seeley stabbed the ball home from six-yards out after Copeland headed the ball towards goal.
Leicester halved the deficit moments later when Gregory Mills rose highest to meet a cross and divert the ball into the net.
Knowle restored their two-goal lead on 61 minutes as Mort headed in a corner from the left from five-yards out.
The visitors kept themselves in the contest 10 minutes later as Mills scored his second of the game from the penalty spot.
However, the Robins made sure of the points five minutes from time when Copeland reacted quickest to loop a header into the net from Jack Duggan’s nod down.
Knowle are next in action against Cradley Town on Saturday, October 18 with kick-off at 3pm at Beeches View Avenue.
