BEREAVED parents are being invited to decorate a pebble in memory of their babies.
Throughout Baby Loss Awareness Month, October, The Lily Mae Foundation has set up at station in St Mary’s Church, Temple Balsall for the memorials.
These pebbles can be decorated and placed under the tree of remembrance.
All pebbles and pens are provided.
The Balsall Common based charity said: “Please note due to space we have had to move all the existing pebbles to another area at the Church.
“Please feel free to collect your old pebble if you would like to take it away with you, otherwise they will be left in the new area which is situated to the right of the existing spot.
“Unfortunately some pebbles haven’t weathered well and have been recycled.”
The Lily Mae Foundation was founded by Amy and Ryan Jackson after the tragic loss of their baby girl, Lily Mae in 2010 at Solihull Hospital.
It offers a one to one Baby Loss Support Service and baby boxes as well as a number of other projects aimed to help those who have lost a baby to stillbirth, neonatal death, miscarriage or medical termination.
