RESIDENTS are being called on to have their say on the future of Balsall Common and Berkswell.
Earlier this year, Balsall Common and Berkswell Parish Councils submitted a joint request to the Council for a Community Governance Review, with a view of merging both parish councils into one.
A Community Governance Review (CGR) is a legal process that councils use to examine, and potentially change, the governance arrangements of town and parish councils in their areas. This is the way communities are represented at a local level. A CGR can consider several options, including creating, merging, altering or abolishing parishes.
Solihull Council is asking residents to share their view by taking part in a public consultation which will run until 11:59om on October 1.
