SOLIHULL Moors have terminated the contract of veteran midfielder John Bostock by mutual consent.
The 33-year-old made 41 appearances for Moors in the National League last season.
He joined Moors on a two-year deal ahead of the start of the 2024/25 campaign.
And both parties have now agreed to terminate his contract early.
Moors chairman, Darryl Eales said: “John, as well as being a highly gifted player, is one of the most principled individuals you can meet and I’m delighted that we have reached an outcome which serves the best interests of both parties.
“John will always be a welcome visitor at Moors and I’d like to personally thank him for his service to Moors.
“All of us at the club wish him the very best for the future.”
Bostock added: “It’s been an honour to wear the yellow shirt and represent Solihull Moors.
“This club has come a long way in such a short time, and I’ve no doubt it’s heading for even greater things.
“Thank you to the chairman, my teammates, the staff and the fans for the support and memories.
“I leave with nothing but respect and gratitude, and I wish the club all the very best for the season ahead and beyond.”
Bostock came through Crystal Palace’s academy before securing a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
He made just four first team appearances for Spurs and later played for the likes of Toronto FC, Royal Antwerp, OH Leuven, Lens, Bursaspor and Toulouse.
The midfielder eventually returned to England and won promotion from the National League with Notts County in 2022/23.
