INTREPID explorers from Cockshut Hill School completed a hike for their Duke of Edinburgh award.
The hike was an important milestone for the Duke of Edinburgh Award eight participants.
The group navigated through the Catherine De Barnes countryside and demonstrated map-reading and navigation skills they have been developing over recent weeks.
The learners who completed the hike were Ava, Bella, Alessia, Izzy, Om, Ziad, Hadi and Owen.
Jason Bridges, principal at Cockshut Hill School, said: “I am incredibly proud of all the learners who took part in the Duke of Edinburgh practice walk.
“Their dedication, teamwork, and positive attitude in such challenging conditions are exactly the values we celebrate at Cockshut Hill.
“They represented the school with great maturity and enthusiasm.”
