A SOLIHULL man has been jailed for his part in last year’s summer disorder.
Amon Bahri, of Oak Croft, has been jailed for violent disorder in Bordesley Green in August.
The 20-year-old was involved in disorder which saw a Skoda vehicle smashed before a pub in Stoney Lane was attacked and a man was assaulted.
Bahri was jailed for one year and nine months at Birmingham Crown Court.
Chief Superintendent Richard North, from Birmingham Police, said: “This sentence shows that we do not tolerate violence in our towns and cities.
“We would like to thank members of the public for sharing our appeal which was crucial to identify those responsible.”
