THE HISTORIC Grade II Listed, Berkswell Windmill is to open its doors for the first time this year on Easter Monday (April 21).
Visitors, families and friends are all invited for the afternoon to enjoy a cream tea on the lawn and a guided tour of this internationally renowned mill.
The Address is Windmill Lane, Balsall Common CV7 7GY.
From noon until 4pm there will be Morris Dancers and the Coventry Spinners and Weavers will be demonstrating the ancient craft of spinning and weaving with sheep’s wool.
There is also a play area with swings, slides and ride-on toys.
Cream teas will also be on offer – cash only
Entrance costs £5 for adults and £1 for teenager under 16 and includes a free guided tour. Organisers have said cash only please.
All proceeds will go towards the maintenance of the Mill.
