CELEBRATIONS were in order when at Solihull Sixth Form College Netball Team were crowned league winners.
The first Netball team, captained by Abbie Wills, are unbeaten this season, having amassed more than 500 points in their 13 matches in the Association of Colleges (AoC ) Sport Netball West Midlands League 3 this season.
Highlights include a 55-4 victory over Newcastle College and a 56-23 win against Stourport High School.
Sandra Rowland, sport and health teacher and netball coach said: “I’m proud of the girls for their hard work and dedication this season.
“We have some gifted players, but most importantly they play together as a team and their efforts have been rewarded. They deserve this success.”
