SOLIHULL Moors assistant head coach Richard Stearman has departed the club to join Championship side Swansea City.
Moors appointed Stearman as first team coach following his retirement from professional football in July 2024.
The club promoted Stearman to assistant head coach after Matt Taylor replaced Andy Whing as Moors boss in January.
However, the 37-year-old has made the move to South Wales to join caretaker head coach Alan Sheehan’s coaching staff at the Swansea.com Stadium.
Moors director of football, Stephen Ward said: “Stears has been an outstanding servant to the club, both as a player and as a coach.
“His experience, professionalism, and love for the game have been evident in everything he has done at Solihull Moors.
“While we are sad to see him go, we are incredibly proud of his progression and wish him nothing but success in this new role.”
