FIVE dedicated players became smash hits to complete the Badminton England Foundation Coaching Award.
Nimi, Harpreet, Lok, Manoj, and Ally successfully completed the course, marking a step forward in their badminton journey and paving the way for even more opportunities at the centre.
The Foundation Coaching Award equips participants with the skills and knowledge to assist in coaching sessions, providing essential support to young players and helping to grow the sport within our community.
Badminton England delivered the course and, with the support of the Yonex All England Legacy Fund, helped to make it more accessible for aspiring coaches.
Badminton Centre founder, Steve Kiernan, said: “I am incredibly proud of Nimi, Harpreet, Lok, Manoj, and Ally for taking this important step into coaching.
“Seeing members, parents, and volunteers develop their skills and passion for the sport is fantastic.
“They can now join our growing team of Foundation and Level 2 Coaches, helping us expand our sessions and inspire even more players to enjoy and improve at badminton. Their enthusiasm and dedication will make a huge difference to our community.”
