RAIN failed to dampen spirits as Langley School officially opened its multi-use games area (MUGA).
The Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Shahin Ashraf cut the ribbon to mark the start of play at the Honorary Alderman Norman Davies MUGA.
It is named after the late Honorary Alderman who was chair of governors at Langley who served as Solihull Mayor from 2009 to 2010 and was leader of the Liberal Democrat Group and served as cabinet member for Education in 2010.
The Alderman’s family were at the ceremony alongside the Mayor and members of the school community.
