BUDDING university students spent the day in the life as a Keble College student at Oxford University.
The 30 pupils from Lyndon School were given a tour of the life at the College from the dormitories to social spaces, and library to show the vibrant community and support network available to Oxford students.
There was also a speech from a former Lyndon pupil who has graduated from the college who shared their insights into why Oxford stands out.
The day culminated with a visit to the iconic Christ Church College, a place rich in academic history and culture, as well as cinematic fame.
Keble College is home to more than 800 students and is one of the biggest colleges at the University of Oxford. It was established in 1870 and they seek learners who are academically aspiring and intellectually ambitious.
Head of school, Syreeta Kapswara said: “It’s brilliant that we were able to take so many learners along to Keble College. I know the trip left the group feeling inspired and informed about their future academic journeys and that the immersive experience provided a glimpse into the possibilities that lie ahead.
“At Lyndon School we make every effort to help learners make informed choices about their next steps, ensuring that when they leave us they are confident about, and prepared for whatever path they choose.”
