Teenager remanded over Marston Green murder charges

A SECOND teenager has been charged over a fatal stabbing of another teenager in Solihull.

West Midlands Police have charged a 15-year-old boy with the murder of a 17-year-old boy on Station Road, Marston Green, on October 29.

He has also been charged with possession of a bladed article.

He appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court on November 7 and was remanded into custody.

An 18-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody as enquiries continue.

This brings the total amount arrested on suspicion of murder to three with two charged.




Detective Inspector Michelle Cordell, from the force’s Homicide Team, said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and loved ones of the 17-year-old boy who sadly died.

“We are keeping the family informed of the latest developments. I want to thank members of the public that have already come forward to share what they know. I’m still appealing for anyone with information to please get in touch.”
