A HALF-term sports championships event which was attended by children aged between 3-13 years-of-age has been labeled a huge success.
Olton & West Warwicks Tennis Club hosted the February Half Term Multi Sport Camps which saw children take part in a wide range of sports from football to squash and archery to golf.
One parent commented: “My son only had positives to say about the instructors and helpers which as a parent is good to hear.” while another added: “My son enjoyed the camp especially trying all the new sports, archery was a big hit! He also made lots of new friends.”
The event is scheduled to run again during the Easter Holiday from March 30 – April 2 and April 7 to April 10.
West Warwickshire coaching team, Steve Hayward and Nigel Smith, are offering healthy lifestyle multi sport sessions starting this month Tuesdays from 4-5pm and 5-6pm.
The session cost £5 and in addition they are running a special tots session on Mondays from 2-2.45pm which is aimed at three to four-year-olds.
