TWO Birmingham City Ladies development squad players have moved onto pastures new.

The club confirmed that Abbeyleigh Stringer has opted to return to local rivals Aston Villa Ladies on a transfer.

The Central midfielder joined Blues last year following the mid-season break and made six appearances for the club.

And Blues development squad keeper and England Under-17 international Sian Rogers has signed for Arsenal Ladies.

Her move follows a successful season with Blues in the development squad, where they have recently won the FA WSL Development League Cup.

Rogers has been playing for England since the age of 13 and is a regular in the under-17 national squad, featuring in the team that qualified for this summer’s European Championship in Iceland.

Birmingham City have wished both well as they begin the next chapter of their career.
