The countdown to Christmas has begun

Solihull Editorial 27th Nov, 2014 Updated: 21st Oct, 2016   0

THE COUNTDOWN to Christmas began in Shirley as townsfolk turned out for the annual lights switch-on.

Carol singing was led by the talented youngsters from Haslucks Green Junior School before Father Christmas and the local traders who make the lights possible switched on the lights.

Observer photographer Jon Mullis was on-hand to capture these images of the evening.
