SOLIHULL will host its first ever fashion week this month with the launch of a catwalk show hosted by Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke.

The four-day fashion event, which takes place from Thursday (April 21) to Sunday (April 24) will be followed by a weekend spectacular at Touchwood shopping centre.

Stunning clothing, beauty treatments and hair styling will be taking place throughout the event with expert talks from celebrity stylists and must-see demonstrations taking place across the town centre.

Furthermore, Touchwood shopping centre will host a vibrant, fashion-focussed, event where there will be a dedicated men’s catwalk show from 11am on Saturday (April 23) in the Atrium.

A live fashion show featuring the latest looks from Gap, Next and Zara will then take place the following day.

Lucy Burnett, marketing manager for Touchwood said: “We’re thrilled to be playing our part in the town’s first ever Fashion Week.

“From renowned high street retailers, through to independent boutiques and designer stores, Touchwood will have style ideas to suit all tastes and budgets.

“Our catwalk shows will provide the perfect excuse for guests to kick-back and enjoy a little bit of weekend glitz and glamour.

“It’s a great way to involve the little ones too – this will be the only dedicated children’s fashion event.”
