A SOLIHULL police officer is appearing in court today (January 13) charged with assaulting a child.
PC Tariq Dost, aged 49 from Birmingham who is part of the local policing team for Blythe, was arrested last Thursday and conditionally bailed.
He was subsequently re-arrested yesterday (Tuesday, January 12) and charged with the assault.
