A CYCLIST was hit by car and left needing hours of surgery on the Stonebridge Island towards Coventry.
A silver Peugeot-style car knocked him off his bike before speeding off about 6.30am on January 7.
The incident on the A452 left the 45-year-old man, who was cycling towards Coventry, with serious spinal injuries. The car was last seen heading towards the city.
PC John Slater said he was appealing for anyone who remembered seeing the collision to come forward.
