Solihull builder charged with assault after 'road rage' incident

A MAN has been charged with assault after a suspected road rage in Kitts Green left a man with life-threatening injuries.

Builder Daniel Bond, aged 29 of Elmore Close, Fordbridge, Solihull, assaulted a 37-year-old man on Gressel Lane around 6.30pm last Friday after a minor collision between a van and car.

The father-of-one remains in a critical condition after being rushed to hospital with severe head injuries and put in an induced coma.

The builder, who handed himself in, appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court today.




He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Birmingham Crown Court on September 5.
