AN OPPORTUNITY has come knocking for neighbours across Hall Green to join forces and discuss the future of Hall Green on September 10.

Meet the Neighbours Day – spearheaded by Hall Green Action Group – has been set up to encourage residents across Hall Green to rub shoulders and find out what’s on offer in the area.

It will be an opportunity for residents to catch up over a slice of cake and a cup of tea.

There will be enough to keep everyone busy as the event will be spread across 10 venues – including Sarehole Mill, Highfield Hall and Al-Hira Education Centre and Mosque.

There will a long-list of activities to get stuck into and plenty of food will be up for grabs throughout the day.

Hall Green Baptist Church, Rev Lynn Britten said: “There will be fun to be had across the whole day.

“You can have Brunch at the Baptist Church, lunch at Hall Green United Community Church and Tea at St Michael’s, St Peter’s and the Church of the Ascension.

“The Hindu Temple and the Al-Hira Mosque will also be offering a helping hand to provide food.”

The event will take place at Hall Green Baptist Church at 10.30am and will finish at Highfield Hall at 7pm.

Entry to all venues are free of charge.
