Relive the popular Jazz and Blues festival at Birmingham New Street Station

FANS of Jazz and Blues can relive the popular 2015 Jazz and Blues Festival at Birmingham New Street Station now more than 50 photographs from the event are on display.

Held in July, the festival attracted artists from America, France, Sweden, Luxembourg and Italy and over 94,000 people attended the event.

The exhibition has been in place since December – with New Street Station enjoying a footfall of £3.5million since then.

Opportunity to relive the event is still available until Sunday (January 31).




Curated by students from Birmingham City University, the exhibition was guided by senior lecturer, Phil Thompson – with help from students Casey Li, Felicity Hall, Nora Al-Hindi and Francisca Borzea.

The photography project was supported by Arts Council England and the exhibition is hosted by Network Rail.


The 32nd Birmingham Jazz and Blues Festival will take place from July 15 to July 24, 2016.
