POLICE in Norfolk are continuing to search for a Solihull woman who went missing while on holiday.

Suzanne Hughes (pictured) was on the last day of a family holiday in Cromer, Norfolk, when she disappeared at around 10.30pm on Friday, July 17.

The 67-year-old’s disappearance has been described as ‘out of character’ although she is believed to be taking anti-depressants.

Both the coastguard and police helicoper have been used to try and locate her, while extensive CCTV has been trawled through.

Her emotional husband Alan is desperate for news.

He said: “She wasn’t in bed around 3.30am and I thought she’d gone to the loo.

“I went downstairs to see if she was on the settee reading but she wasn’t there I looked in the kitchen and she wasn’t there either.

“I saw the front door was open and I looked out and couldn’t see anything.

“The sea was only two or three minutes from the cottage so I went down to the promenade and on to the pier.

“I dread to think what has happened to her.

“She had no money. She had put her dress on but hadn’t taken her glasses and she needs them.

“If anybody can hear me and knows anything – send her back to me.

“I just want her back.”

Suzanne is around 5ft tall with short blonde hair.

She wears glasses, although she was not believed to be wearing any when she went missing, and is believed to be wearing a black and white dress.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sgt Jeff Gover at Norfolk Constabulary on 101.
