Dorridge schoolgirl shows off acting talents in new Aldi advert

A NINE-YEAR-OLD school girl from Dorridge showcased her acting talent when appearing on the set of Aldi’s new television commercial.

Dorridge Junior School pupil Abbie Clark landed the role after previously performing at the Alexandra Theatre, acting for Stagecoach adverts and various modelling jobs.

It would appear acting comes as a natural talent for the Bentley Heath youngster as an agency company in London frequently casts her for jobs around the country.

Proud mum Sara explained how Abbie first started acting when she was five, and at first was a little shy.

She added: “Abbie’s brilliant at singing and loves the stage.

“We’re so proud of what she’s done and at times we can be incredibly busy but then other times it’ll be quieter.”
