CREEPY, crawley creatures can now stop off at a new bug hotel at Balsall Common Primary School.

Darren Bell and a team of 15 Jaguar Landrover staff gave up their time to brave the damp weather and paint fences at the school before building the Nature Club a bug hotel.

Mr Bell said: “This has been a great team building experience as we all work out of different locations and some of the people I have never met before.

“It’s also a good opportunity to do some work that benefits the community.”

Howard Rose, the school’s funding and publicity manager, said he would like to offer Darren and his team a huge thank-you for all their hard work.

“The fences are now looking much smarter and will last much longer now they are protected,” he added.

“The children had no idea about the bug hotel and I am sure they will all enjoy it not just the Nature Club.

“This is another example of the benefits to both sides when local business work with schools.”
