Competition to win luxury hamper

Solihull Editorial 11th Dec, 2015 Updated: 21st Oct, 2016   0

CHRISTMAS is always the cause of much celebration at Hatton Shopping Village and this year the Warwickshire-based attraction is once again teaming up with the Observer to offer a luxury Christmas hamper for one lucky reader.

Bursting to the brim with festive food and drinks, the Hatton Christmas hamper promises to incorporate the best of quintessentially English food and gifts, as well as vouchers worth £50 to spend at any of the on-site stores.

Situated in picturesque Victorian redbrick buildings, Christmas at Hatton combines boutique stores with high-street names and traditional market stalls, making it the perfect place to find unusual and special Christmas gifts for your friends and family members.

Taking place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday this month, plus Monday 21 and Tuesday 22, Hatton’s unique Christmas markets will bring the best traditions of the holiday to the shopping destination. With live music from street organs, a nativity show with live animals and mulled punch and roast chestnuts for visitors, you’ll really feel like you’re back in the Dickensian era – you may even see Scrooge wandering the streets.

With traditional stalls selling hundreds of bespoke items you’ll find everything you’ve come to expect from the region’s larger Christmas markets, including homemade decorations, jewellery, scented candles, knitted jumpers and scarves, jams and chutneys, and so much more.

Fridays in December will also see late night shopping at the attraction, with special visits from Father Christmas in his sleigh at 6pm each evening, and choruses singing traditional Christmas carols before shops close at 8.30pm.

Hatton’s on-site restaurants will also be taking part in the festivities, with the Spinning Jenny Bar & Tearoom providing freshly baked mince pies and warming glasses of mulled wine, and Café Lavender Blue serving festive afternoon teas.

All this, plus free parking and a delightfully tranquil atmosphere, means that a Christmas shopping experience at Hatton Shopping Village is a different experience entirely.

Answers on a postcard, together with your name address and daytime telephone number, to Hatton Hamper Competition, The Observer, 45 The Parade, Leamington CV32 4BL.

The winner will be the sender of the first correct entry drawn after the closing date which is noon on December 17.
