POLICE have confirmed that the body of an 18-year-old girl was found in a canal in Dickens Heath.
The body was discovered by a member of the public in the Stratford-Upon-Avon Canal, which runs through Dickens Heath at 6am this morning (July 3).
The area has been cordoned off and police are not currently treating the death as suspicious.
A post mortem examination will take place in due course.
