KIND-HEARTED festive walkers put their best foot forward and raised almost £9,000.
Sunny skies greeted almost 1,800 walkers who ignored the early morning frost for the 22nd Lions Festive Walk at Baddesley Clinton.
Ute Smith said: “It’s tremendous the way this annual charity event has become so popular with friends and relatives filling their cars to walk off the Christmas pud every year.
“Once again people were extremely generous with the Lions receiving almost £9.000 on the day for their nominated charities – Solihull Young Carers, Arthritis Research UK, Knowle Football Club and local causes.
“So to all the walkers, we thank you once again for your continued support and hope to see you again next year”.
