AGE UK Solihull is inviting Solihull ladies to a fun filled Fashion Show at John Lewis on Thursday, May 19 at its Solihull store.

Building on the partnership from the Christmas campaign, John Lewis and Age UK Solihull have organised the event to continue to raise money for the local charity, which provides services to older people here in Solihull.

Jenny Day, Personal Stylist from John Lewis Solihull said: “We are delighted to be hosting a Fashion Workshop for Age UK Solihull. It will be a fun and entertaining evening with the benefit of expert advice that will inspire and inform”.

Lorraine Hart, Fundraising Manager at Age UK Solihull added: “It’s lovely to continue the great relationship we have with John Lewis, who have been very supportive of Age UK Solihull, not just through the Christmas advertising campaign, but throughout the year. We’re looking forward to a fab ‘girly night out’.”

The evening begins with a glass of something sparkly and canapes at 6pm, followed by the fashion show, showcasing what’s hot this Summer. There will then be half an hour’s exclusive access to the Womenswear floor from 8pm until 8.30pm.

Tickets are £13.00 and can either be booked online through Eventbrite (booking fee applies) or contact Age UK Solihull’s Fundraising Team on 0121 704 7842 or email [email protected]

All the money raised stays in Solihull to help pay for services to older people, particularly those living alone and have no-one to turn to in times of need.

Age UK Solihull is now located in The Core at Solihull Central Library and advice is also available at the Hub in Chelmlsley Wood Library.
