A 21-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and dangerous driving after a five vehicle crash on Douglas Road, Acocks Green, last night.
West Midlands Ambulance Service, the police and fire crews attended the scene shortly before 9pm.
The offender was taken to hospital before being taken into custody.
West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the scene at 8.46pm last night – initially described as a three vehicle incident.
However it soon became clear that five cars were involved – one car of which rolled over.
Fortunately, only one person involved, a man, was assessed at Heartlands Hospital.
