OVER 200 SOLIHULL performers have teamed up with BBC One’s ‘The Voice’ TV star, Karl Loxley to put on a performance of a life-time – with a feast of well-known songs from West End shows on June 19.

The show will also feature critically-acclaimed West End stars – Rachael Louise Miller, David Covey and Christopher Ragland just to name a few.

The star sang his way into Tom Jones’ final eight – and now Karl Loxley has returned to the borough to help an army of Solihull performers showcase their talent.

Grace Academy student, Ella Zizzi said: “It will be a really good experience and I will feel proud to have worked with people who are quite famous.

“In the future I would like to be involved in the performing arts and so it will help to see how the professionals work and ask questions.”

The community-led choir – including Grace Academy students, local primary schools and theatre companies – will be working alongside the TV star who has had first-hand experience in the industry.

Producer, Adam Hepkins – who has also worked closely with Aled Jones said:

“The production has raised the aspirations of young people and gave them enriching theatrical experiences.

“It’s about inspiring young people to get involved in the performing arts and enjoy the theatre experience as a whole.”

The show will be held at Grace Academy Solihull and tickets will be available at www.positickets.co.uk

Ticket prices range from £5 to £10.
